Q1: My iCloud storage with 5GB is full but my mobile phone has 64GB in total?
#iPhone8 I have an iPhone 8 and my iCloud storage is full, but I bought a mobile phone with 64GB and I wanted to ask whether you can save the photos with the 64GB or whether you have to buy more iCloud storage (how much does it cost and where can it be? I do that)?
A: Well… The question arises whether the iCloud is really only "full" because of photos… Or maybe because of the backup… Of course you can "only" save your pictures on the iPhone… They don't have to be in iCloud (I haven't done it for 12 years…) But with a backup, the pictures are of course also saved in the backup in the iCloud… And the free 5 GB - with an iPhone with t4 GB - does not last long… You can book additional storage in the iCloud at any time… E.g. 50 GB for 99 cents a month…
