#iPhone11 I have an iPhone XR & with me there's such a black frame in the camera (right picture) & with the iPhone 11 the camera picture (left) is visible on the complete screen without a black frame.
A: No, the iPhone 11 has more cameras and the black bar is gone because Apple wants to show "you could switch the camera and take more pictures". Since the iPhone XR only has one, the black bar remains (there's no way to turn it off)
