Q1: iPhone picture transfer?
#iPhoneXS I have an iPhone XS and as expected I would like to empty my memory and drag my pictures from the cell phone to my Linux laptop. I have a perfectly functioning cable for this and my laptop recognizes the device as such (of course I clicked allow, etc.) The problem is, it doesn't recognize any images. I see documents from my cell phone (Pages) but not really the contents of my cell phone. No pictures or videos. I wonder if there's any setting on my cell phone that I need to be aware of because my family members' laptops have the same problems. It would be incredibly helpful if someone could help me, because I've looked everywhere and most of the time I was only suggested to use iTunes or I cloud, which is not compatible with Linnux
A: Use iCloud. There you can save your pictures and the iPhone memory will be relieved. Can also be used on Linux via iCloud.com. Otherwise try to copy your photos into files. Once you have it, you may be able to access it by cable.
