Q1: iPhone bought at o2 but tariff elsewhere?
#iPhone11 I have a question. A few months ago I ordered an iPhone 11 from o2 in installments (duration 2 years, without tariff). I have my call and internet tariff at "winSim". I recently found that no money is "deducted" from my account, so the bill from the installments, so to speak. Although it is a direct debit and I have not received any letters or other notifications. Now I've heard that you have to have a tariff with o2 so that I somehow have to pay my installments for the mobile phone?! I didn't really understand it to be honest. Can someone with the idea maybe explain that to me and say what I should do now?
A: You have signed a loan contract with a loan provider (bank, insurance company) and probably not a related mobile phone contract with o2 (or Drillisch). Ask the bank when the rates will be deducted from your checking account, or just wait.
