Q1: How much freedom does Apple's iOS offer?
#iOS I have at most an iPad 4 with iOS 10 where I could test something out but I wanted to ask again fundamentally. Android is in itself quite "simple" that you can connect the phone s.PC, move music or pictures, can download APKs, etc.
A: Apple is not too compatible in itself. You can e.g. Do not download files from the internet. The phone does not work properly on the computer without iTunes. Etc., etc.
