Q1: Is it possible to use USB headphones on the mobile phone?
#iOS I have an iOS phone, and USB headset, can I use my headphones with a USB to mobile phone plug on my phone? Or do I need an app?
A: This is not possible with such a plug as on the picture, because USB headphones have their own sound card. Such a plug is for old special devices like the iPod Shuffle which sent the data still over the jack connection in order to get music on the device. You can, however, buy a Lightning to USB adapter and use the USB headphones. The Lightning connection gives but little power out, if the headphones need more, you have to hang an additional power source in between.
