Q1: AirPods at huawei problems?

(Apple has always had a lot to do with locking and has not revealed everything and always tried to keep everything closed) Apparently there are also some YouTube videos where people connect the AirPods to an Android device. So somehow it works. You already said that it works perfectly on your mum's cell phone, then it has to be on your cell phone. Try to completely reconnect them, so delete them first, then restart your cell phone, reconnect, etc. Maybe that will help.
